Marriage Preparation

MARRIAGE is a big step – and an important one. Once the fun of planning the ‘big day’ is over, the guests have left and you are home from your honeymoon, what happens next?

At All Saints we don’t just support you as you prepare for the wedding ceremony but also the married life together that follows.

Your invitation

If you’re due to marry at All Saints we would love you to join in our Preparing for Marriage sessions. Each session explores the practicalities of married life in an informal yet structured and fun way.

They usually take place on a Sunday and include the 10.45am service, a session before lunch, a great lunch and a longer session in the afternoon, finishing at about 4.30pm. The event is designed to get you talking to each other about things you have not thought about before.

How it works

Two couples from the church lead discussions using video and handouts to help couples think beyond the wedding day and include issues like:

You won’t be expected to share your thoughts with anyone but your partner, unless you want to.

Make a date for your marriage preparation

The sessions take place after the 10.45am service on the first Sunday in February and November each year.
