Our Services
At All Saints Church we know one size doesn’t fit all. Different people prefer to praise and worship in different ways and we are committed to offering a variety of days, times and styles to meet as many of those preferences as possible.
Sunday
9.00am Holy Communion
This is a traditional service of Holy Communion, including a sermon, aimed primarily at adults (there is no Sunday club or crèche). All believers are welcome to take communion.
10.45am Morning Praise and Holy Communion
Our 10.45am services are always the busiest and liveliest of the day and vary in focus from week to week.
1st Sunday All Age Worship with Baptism/Thanksgiving
These services are designed for all ages so our children and young people stay in throughout the service. There is no Sunday Club but crèche facilities are available in the Church Centre.
Baptisms or Services of Thanksgiving take place within the service and the rest of the service is led by the All Age Worship Team. They will generally be quite informal and less than an hour long (so the patience of the little ones isn’t tried too much!) and include a high degree of participation.
2nd and 5th Holy Communion
With exception of the 1st Sunday of each month, children and young people are in church at the start of the service then leave after about 15 minutes to join their own age-specific Sunday Club groups. The ‘up front’ time for the children includes action songs.
On Holy Communion days our children and young people come back to the main service during the Peace to join us for Communion. All believers are welcome to take Communion.
3rd and 4th Morning Worship
With exception of the 1st Sunday of each month, children and young are in church at the start of the service then leave after about 15 minutes to join their own age-specific Sunday Club groups. The ‘up front’ time for the children includes action songs. Parents/carers collect their children from the Church Centre at the end of the service.
Evening Worship
We don't have a weekly Sunday evening service although there are special services throughout the year and once a term we join together with other Chester Link Up churches at Northgate Church for @ The Throne to pray for the City of Chester.
Sunday at 6
Sunday at 6 may be a break with church tradition but one that vicar Rev John Kirkland believes meets the needs of 21st century life.It will run on the last Sunday of each month.
He said: “All Saints Church has always worked hard to meet the needs of the community we serve – and part of that is accepting that Sunday mornings aren’t always an ideal time for families to come to Church. We want to offer a realistic option to families so that they can have time and space to reflect on the relevance of the Christian faith to their lives and the life of the local community".

Messy Church
Messy Church takes place on the 3rd Sunday of each month 4-6pm.
Messy Church is just what it sounds like – fun, informal and well, messy!
It’s designed to be church for families who might want to meet Jesus, belong to their local church and bring up their children as Christians but aren’t able to come to, or can't cope with, traditional Sunday morning church services.
Protecting our children
Everyone who works with children, young people or vulnerable adults at All Saints – whether paid or voluntary – is vetted and has a current clean Disclosure and Barring Services check(formerly CRB).
