Craft Club
Craft Club was set up in February 2012 in response to a desire to learn how to do patchwork quilting. We are a Christian group who meet together on Friday afternoons for a couple of hours. The session usually includes a short thought for the day as well as a craft learning session covering the topic for the week and also involves lots of laughter and tea and cake.
Craft Club is open to anyone interested in needlecraft and provides an opportunity to share experiences and enjoy one another's company and have a bit of fun being creative. You dont need any equipment apart from yourself, and any previous craft experience is unnecessary. Although we began with patchwork quilting and continue to develop this skill, we have widened our learning to include crotchet, knitting, bagmaking etc.
We are a mixed group of all ages and skill levels, from the beginner to the slightly more able and what we lack in expertise we make up for in enthusiasm.
